Personal injury lawsuit against Isuzu reaches settlement

Two teenagers who filed a personal injury lawsuit after a car accident have recently settled their lawsuit against the manufacturer of the vehicle they were driving. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but were quoted to be satisfactory to both parties. In the personal injury lawsuit alleged products liability design default.

Man Injured in Car Accident Sues Other Driver

An Illinois man that sustained personal injuries in a car accident has filed a personal injury lawsuit against the driver of the other car. The complaint accuses the driver of negligent driving due to failure to keep a proper lookout, driving too fast and failing to slow down which. The driver then rear ended the victim causing him these personal injuries. The ISBA Administrative Law Section to sponsor CLE program on representing clients in drivers' licensing issues

On October 11, 2008 in Springfield, Illinois the ISBA Administrative Law Section, the General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Section, and the Standing Committee on Delivery of Legal Services will be hosting an opportunity for Continuing Legal Education. The program regards representing your client in drivers licensing issues at the Secretary of State. Topics will include how a person loses privileges and how those privileges can get restored in addition to other issues regarding licensing. One killed and two hurt in Chicago Southwest side car crash

A single-car crash early today left three people victims. One passenger was killed and two others were injured. The crash was originally reported as a hit-and-run, but police later said that their investigation determined that only one vehicle was involved in the deadly car accident. The driver of the car lost control, struck a curb, and then a tree before slamming into a light pole. The victim who died was ejected from the vehicle. The Chicago car crash occurred shortly before 3:30 am on the Southwest Side of Chicago in Illinois.

Six People Sustain Personal Injuries In Kennedy Crash

Six people were taken to two Chicago, IL hospitals with personal injuries following a major automobile accident. Early in the morning a multi-vehicle crash occurred near the Ohio Street exit off the Kennedy Expressway in Chicago. Three of the victims were taken to Stroger Hospital and are listed in serious condition with personal injuries. Three others were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with personal injuries are also listed in serious condition. Illinois State Police are investigating the cause of the crash. 2 People Hospitalized After Cab Crashes Into Chicago Shop

A cab crashed into a building at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, sending two people to the hospital with personal injuries. The cab driver, who was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an unsafe motor vehicle after the crash, slammed into the building. The 1 ½ story building on O’Hare grounds houses a restaurant, convenience store and many people. Two people inside the structure sustained personal injuries and are hospitalized at this time. Two others, including the driver were taken to the hospital and released with personal injuries. Police are unable to say whether the cab driver had any passengers at the time of the crash. One way to reduce car accidents in Illinois is to avoid aggressive driving. Aggressive driving is the operation of a motor vehicle in a manner that endangers or is likely to endanger persons or property. Persons doing any of the following may be committing acts of aggressive driving: speeding, running red lights and stop signs, tailgating, passing on the shoulder of the road, cutting off another vehicle, slamming on brakes in front of a tailgater, and more.
