Wrongful death lawsuit filed on behalf of car crash victim

A wrongful death lawsuit was just filed on behalf of the mother of a 25-year-old man who was killed as a passenger in a car accident two years ago. The lawsuit alleges that the driver of the vehicle was driving recklessly when he crashed, killing the victim. Wrongul death lawsuit filed by John Perconti of Levin & Perconti after woman dies in car accident

John J. Perconti of Levin & Perconti has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Kane County, Illinois on behalf of a woman who was killed in a serious car accident last fall. The 32-year-olc woman’s vehicle was hit by a truck, causing her to crash into the Illinois Department of Transportation dump truck in front of her. The woman is survived by her husband and 3-year-old son, who were both seriously injured in the truck accident. The truck driver was reportedly under the influence of marijuana and half of the brakes on his semitrailer were deemed out of alignment and inadequate for stopping. Although criminal charges have not been filed yet, the death has been ruled a homicide.

Three people were taken to Chicago hospitals in serious condition early this morning after a car crashed into a building in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. No further information was available on the Chicago car accident.

Man killed in South Side Chicago car crash

A man was killed early yesterday morning in a car accident in South Side Chicago. A man driving west disobeyed a red light and crashed into another vehicle in the intersection. The man continued driving west despite the car crash ultimately striking a concrete barrier. A 29 year-old man was dead on the scene following the car crash.

Child driver injures elderly woman in Chicago

A 9 year-old Chicago girl drove her mother's car and ran over an 80 year-old woman. The elderly woman's legs were broken in the Chicago car accident. The child's caretaker was charged with endangering the life of a child and cited with a traffic violation in the car accident.

1 Person Killed in Auto Rollover

A woman was killed and a passenger in her vehicle was personally injured this morning when she lost control of her speeding car and her automobile crashed into a light pole. The automobile accident occurred near the University of Illinois at Chicago. A witness reported seeing the automobile crash into the median and roll over. The sedan then slammed into two light posts. The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 29-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition with personal injuries. Car plunges into harbor and kills man

A man died today after his car crashed into a harbor after breaking through safety railings. Witnesses said that the 82 year-old car crash victim was trying to park his car when the car crashed through the railings, teetered on the wharf and fell into the harbor below. The car crash victim was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Man Drives Car Through House

A homeowner will have to make repairs to his house after a man drove through it in an automobile accident. The 25 year old man went through an intersection and continued through a front yard and plowed into the front of the house in the car crash in Homer Glen, Illinois. This automobile accident destroyed the front doors and brick façade. A resident was watching television in the family room when he heard the car crash and came out to find the car in his foyer with a dazed driver inside. Another Chicago train accident effects 5000 passengers

Chicago’s train system has been riddled with difficulties lately including car accidents, truck crashes, pedestrian accidents, security issues, and derailments. Another derailment that occurred this morning will affect 5000 passengers. The 72-car freight train from Canada derailed in Buffalo Grove, Illinois on its way to Chicago. Funeral Procession Accidents Becoming More Common

Experts say that car accidents are more common when a funeral procession is involved. One Elk Grove Village, Illinois resident died after her car collided with a funeral procession. The woman was killed when a pickup truck that was part of a funeral procession drove through a red light and slammed into her car. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with personal injuries. Experts say that it is not unusual for a funeral procession to be marred by a fender bender. Illinois law states that the lead vehicle in a procession must obey stop signs and traffic signals, but the rest of the caravan can proceed without stopping and has the right of way as long as all vehicles keep on their headlights. Amtrak Train Derails

An Amtrak train derailed while departing Chicago’s Union Station. The train accident involved an Amtrak Southwest Chief train had 116 passengers aboard. At least one person was personally injured. The train consisted of eight cars and two locomotives, and it was the two cars in the middle of the train that derailed. The cause of the train accident is unclear. “Replacement” coaches were attached to the front portion of the train after the train accident. Family of car accident victim files personal injury lawsuit in Illinois against trucking company

The family of Charles Cason of Caseyville, Illinois has filed a personal injury lawsuit against the trucking company whose driver killed the 55-year-old and two others, and injured 15, in a serious car accident six months ago. The truck driver crashed into a line of 10 vehicles while distracted by his cell phone. $28.7 Million Verdict in Automobile Accident Trial

A $28.7 million verdict was given in an automobile accident trial that left a four-year-old a paraplegic. The plaintiff was a four-year-old foster child who was a back seat passenger in the defendant’s vehicle when the defendant crossed the center line of travel and struck an oncoming vehicle. It was alleged that the defendant was failing to watch the road in front of him when the car accident occurred. The minor plaintiff was riding in the defendant’s car, returning home from their day car center. The four-year-old sustained permanent spinal cord injuries as a result of the automobile accident and was rendered a T-8 paraplegic. He is paralyzed from his ribcage down. The plaintiff now resides with his adoptive family and is bound to a wheelchair. The automobile negligence trial lasted two and a-half days and the jury found in favor of the plaintiff. Train Crash Leaves Car Accident Victim Dead

A Chicago train accident has lead to a train accident fatality. A Chicago car accident is to blame for the driver’s death and for Chicago train delays. The accident was alleged to have occurred because a negligent car driver drove through a railroad gate and into the train’s path. The train hit the car causing the car driver’s death. Luckily there were no passengers injured on the train and the car had no passengers. It is likely an investigation will look into possible car defects to rule out the cause of the car and train accident. Man Dies in Automobile Crash with a Stolen Van

A man driving a stolen van was killed when he caused an automobile accident after blowing a stop sign and colliding with another vehicle. The two-vehicle crash occurred on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. The driver was pronounced dead on the side. 1 Dead in Chicago Highway Crash

An 18-year-old man died when he was involved in a head-on car crash with another car on the Edens Expressway in Chicago, Illinois. His car also sideswiped another vehicle in the automobile accident. 1 Dead and Four Personally Injured after Illinois Car Crash

One man is dead and four other people were personally injured in an automobile crash in the Chicago suburb of Berwyn. The automobile accident involved two moving cars and seven parked vehicles. A 58-year-old man was pronounced dead after the car crash. Four other people were taken to the hospital with personally injuries. Three people were in one of the moving cars and one person was in the other moving vehicle. The fifth person was in one of the parked cars. Police Chase Ends in Automobile Accident

Police in northern Kane County went on a high-speed car chase that involved three police agencies and the arrest of a man on multiple charges and ended in an automobile accident. The perpetrator accelerated after the police tried to pull him over and led the police on a five-mile chase through Kane County that reached speeds of up to 80 mph. The perpetrator lost control of the van several times, going off the road and nearly hitting a squad car and a passenger car head-on during the 10-minute chase. The man was eventually cornered and his automobile crashed into the passenger side of the police vehicle. There were no personal injuries in the automobile accident. 4 Personally Injured in Illinois Automobile Accident

Four people were taken to the hospital with personal injuries, after an automobile accident where the car they were in hit a tree in Mundelein, Illinois. The one-vehicle automobile crash happened in the late evening. When fire officials arrived on the scene, they found one person trapped in the vehicle and three how had been able to get out after the automobile accident. It took 45 minutes to extricate the trapped person from the vehicle and the victim was flown to the hospital with personal injuries. Pedestrian Killed On Illinois Highway

A pedestrian was killed this evening while crossing I-57 close to the Sibley Boulevard interchange near Harvey, Illinois. An Illinois state police trooper said that a vehicle traveling northbound in the left lane of 1-57 struck the pedestrian who was trying to cross the interstate east-to-west about 500 feet south of 147th Street. All inbound lanes of I-57 were closed for more than two hours during the investigation of the automobile accident. Two Die in Illinois Plane Crash

A plane crash near Joliet, Illinois resulted in two fatalities. A burned aircraft also resulted from the plane crash. The police responded to the plane crash but were unable to immediately determine whether the plane crash occurred as a result of a fire or vice versa. They also still have no idea whether the plane was taking off or landing when it crashed. Witnesses said the plane was approaching a runway when it appeared to burst into fames and then crashed.
