Elderly Woman in Chicago Suburbs Loses Control of Car

On June 4th in the Chicago suburbs, an elderly woman lost control of her car striking another vehicle and then hitting a nearby apartment building. According to the police, age was an factor in this car accident. The Chicago car crash occurred when the woman made a quick right and sideswiped another vehicle and then careened through a parking lot and into an apartment building. The elderly woman was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries to treat her minor personal injuries, and no one else was injured in the accident. The elderly woman was issued a traffic citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid a car accident but is not being held liable for anything more serious.
