A driver was seriously personally injured after crashing into a Chicago Northwest Side building. This car crash prompted a Hazardous Materials response by fire officials. A Level 1 HazMat was called for the incident after the car crashed into a building on the 3300 block of West Peterson Avenue. The driver was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition with personal injuries after his car crashed into the building and hit a gas meter. The HazMat was secured in 10 minutes.
