22-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Collinsville Accident

Belleville News Democrat Online recently released a news report detailing a devastating pedestrian accident that took the life of a 22 year-old Collinsville man. Our Chicago accident lawyers learned that the accident transpired around 5:15 a.m. when the accident victim was crossing an unlit section of Collinsville Road in the State Parke Place area, near John Street, when he was fatally struck. The 78-year-old driver who struck the victim was traveling eastbound on Collinsville Road when he struck the victim.

The victim was pronounced dead at around 6 a.m. from apparent head injuries.
