2 People Hospitalized After Cab Crashes Into Chicago Shop

A cab crashed into a building at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, sending two people to the hospital with personal injuries. The cab driver, who was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an unsafe motor vehicle after the crash, slammed into the building. The 1 ½ story building on O’Hare grounds houses a restaurant, convenience store and many people. Two people inside the structure sustained personal injuries and are hospitalized at this time. Two others, including the driver were taken to the hospital and released with personal injuries. Police are unable to say whether the cab driver had any passengers at the time of the crash.
