Driver Hit While She Fixed Her Car

A woman was killed after she exited her stalled car on South Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois. The woman went to look under the hood after her car stalled. She then was killed in a chain reaction crash. The 48 year-old woman stepped out to work on her stalled car in a southbound lane which cased the car behind her to stop. A third vehicle then collided into that car and pinned her underneath her own car. She died at the scene. The automobile accident occurred near 50th Street on Lake Shore Drive and police had to divert traffic. At this time, no wrongful death lawsuits have been filed. To read the full story, click here.
