Family of Four Seriously Injured in Car Accident on Chicago’s West Side

Two adults and two young children were seriously injured on April 2 in a hit-and-run accident on the west side of Chicago. The accident caused the victim’s car to catch on fire. Police were able to pull the driver and his 7-week-old baby boy from the fiery crash. The driver’s wife and two-year-old daughter were both ejected from the car. The driver of the car that caused the accident fled the scene on foot before police arrived. All four victims were taken to local Chicago hospitals where their conditions range from critical to good.
