Five Injured in Crash on Near West Side of Chicago

Five women were hurt when the automobile they were riding in was T-boned by another car, causing an automobile accident, on the Near West Side of Chicago. An EMS plan was initiated for a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of West Grand and North Western Avenues who said five ambulances were sent to the scene. The automobile accident occurred when a Pontiac Grand Am GT traveling north on Western Avenue T-boned the driver’s side of a car containing the five people who sustained personal injuries. The five from the car that was t-boned in the automobile accident all suffered non-life threatening personal injuries and were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. The driver of the car did not go to the hospital but complained that he had personal injuries as well. Investigators are still determining whether there was fault in the automobile accident.
