Illinois Woman Settles in Connection with Crash That Left Her Paraplegic

The victim of a car accident that occurred in 2005 and which left the Morristown woman a paraplegic has settled her car accident lawsuit. The woman will receive $4 million dollars to help pay for her medical bills and living expenses, as well as money to try and help compensate her mental anguish. According to The Daily Record, the car accident occurred on Route 287 when a car rear-ended the woman and her car then collapsed onto her and the rear of the car crushed forward into her, which caused severe injuries to her spinal cord leaving her with permanent personal injuries.
