Two Injuries Reported in Chicago Car Crash

An Illinois State Police trooper was injured when a car traveling along the Stevenson Expressway in Chicago rear-ended the police vehicle. The car accident occurred in the early morning hours in the outbound lanes of I-55. The police officer had previously pulled another car over for a traffic stop. The driver of that vehicle was in the back of the police officer’s vehicle when a third car rear-ended the police car.

The police officer and the person in the back of the squad car both suffered personal injuries as a result of this car accident. They were taken to local Chicago hospitals with injuries that were said to be non life-threatening. Click on the link to read the full article about this car accident.
