Two Personally Injured When Car Slams into Starbucks

Two automobiles crashed near an Old Town neighborhood in Chicago intersection in the early morning sending one of the vehicles into a Starbucks coffee shop. Emergency crews responded to the accident at North and Wells Street. Two cars collided, sending one of the cars into the Starbucks at the intersection. This particular Starbucks is open 24 hours, and patrons were inside at the time of the crash. However, no one in the coffee shop was injured but a glass window did shatter. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with personal injuries and are listed in “stable” condition. The cause of the car accident is not known.
