Woman Killed In Chicago Car Accident Following Hit & Run

Justice News Flash has the latest information on a car accident that injured one pedestrian and killed another early yesterday morning. Two pedestrians were near the road Monday morning shortly after parking their vehicle in North Aurora. A man and a woman, both 22, were still standing near their parked car when a van sped up near them and clipped both of their bodies.

The crash sent both pedestrians flying, and a passerby spotted their bodies lying on the pavement. Emergency crews were called and the victims were rushed to a local hospital. However, the female pedestrian ultimately died from her wounds; the male victim remains in the hospital.

The driver of the van initially left the scene. However, later that afternoon he turned himself in. Police have not yet filed any charges as they are awaiting the completion of a full investigation into the accident.
