Man Dies in Interstate Automobile Accident

A man was killed when the speeding car he was driving left the roadway, rolled over a struck a tree on the Stevenson Expressway near the Chicago suburb of Forest View. The man was driving a 1997 Cadillac DeVille which crashed into the southbound lanes of the Stevenson Expressway. Witnesses told police the man was driving at a “very high rate of speed” when the car left the roadway, rolled over and struck a tree. The 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, Illinois. No other personal injuries were reported in the car accident and the driver was the only person in the vehicle.
