Man Ejected and Killed In Car Accident

A man was killed on the Southwest Side of Chicago after his vehicle struck a wrought-iron fence and he was ejected from the vehicle. The 30-year old driver was heading east on the 3600 block of West 55th Street when he lost control of the vehicle going over railroad tracks. He traveled over the south curb and then struck a wrought-iron fence which caused him to be ejected. The automobile then continued to travel north across 55th Street before stopping against a chain-link fence. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital. The man was killed in a single-vehicle crash. He died form head injuries suffered in the automobile accident. At this time the investigation is on-going and no lawsuits have been filed. To read the full story, click here.
